Solving Kids’ Cancer (SKC) welcomed Cat Alabaster in to the role of Head of Fundraising on 19 September 2017.
Joining us from the national charity Scope, and Macmillan Cancer Support prior to that, Cat brings with her extensive experience in relationship management fundraising and strategic development, to drive growth and engagement at SKC. Cat says;
“I’m delighted to be joining Solving Kids’ Cancer as their new Head of Fundraising. With a new strategic direction at SKC, it’s an exciting time to join the organisation to fully develop the potential of the fundraising team across a number of income streams. My role will play a key part in ensuring SKC can deliver against its 6 organisational priorities set out in its 5-year strategic plan; focussed on engaging and inspiring long-term public support for the charity to generate sustainable income.”
“I’m very much looking forward to meeting the families that SKC work with, in order to fully develop my understanding of the charity, the disease, and how we can further work towards defeating neuroblastoma together. Other members of the fundraising team and I will be here to support children’s campaigns, as well as to help all of our wider SKC supporters to have the best experience possible.”
In her spare time Cat likes to participate in triathlons of all distances, but IRONMAN is definitely her favourite!
