The Great North Run is a fantastic half marathon in the UK taking place in Newcastle. With over 50,000 runners taking part it’s become the biggest running event of the year attracting runners worldwide!
Starting in Newcastle Upon Tyne the 13.1 mile route takes runners through the city centre towards the River Tyne and across the iconic Tyne Bridge. From here runners travel through Gateshead and finish in the coastal town of South Shields.
Do something amazing. Take on this exciting half marathon whilst also helping to support children and their families affected by neuroblastoma. All we ask is that you pledge to raise a minimum of £350 and pay a registration fee of £25.

How we help children
Solving Kids’ Cancer is dedicated to supporting the lives of children who have been diagnosed with neuroblastoma. We provide emotional, practical and clinical support to families along their cancer journey; we advocate on behalf of children to improve care and treatment; and we use our expertise to identify, shape and fund clinical research to increase treatment options available to children now, and to discover less toxic and more effective treatments for future in the children.
