Take a leap forward for neuroblastoma research:

Raising awareness is all about raising the roof. Why not take on the ultimate sky-high challenge and Skydive to raise funds and awareness to support children affected by neuroblastoma and help fund the next generation of innovative research.

All our skydives are organised through a company called Skyline and take place at 18 airfields all over the country! You can choose the time and location of your jump.

How does it work?

The majority of people opt for a tandem skydive, where you will be harnessed to a professional parachute instructor at all times. This will enable you to complete your training on the same day as your jump. You will skydive from 10,000 feet, freefalling through the air before the parachute is opened at 5,000 feet. Your landing is controlled by the instructor.

All you have to do is raise £395* (or more!) for Solving Kids’ Cancer by asking your friends and colleagues to sponsor you.

Every penny you raise over the minimum will be further contributing to the work of Solving Kids’ Cancer and gives you the chance to make an exhilarating freefall parachute jump for FREE!

SKC will be on hand to support you with your fundraising; you will receive

  • A virtual fundraising pack, with ideas to help you smash your fundraising target
  • An invite to our exclusive challenge event Facebook group
  • Personalised fundraising support from our very own professional fundraiser
  • Regular e-Newsletters to keep you updated on our work with tips too
  • A free fundraising t-shirt on request

How we help children

Solving Kids’ Cancer is dedicated to supporting the lives of children who have been diagnosed with neuroblastoma. We provide emotional, practical and clinical support to families along their cancer journey; we advocate on behalf of children to improve care and treatment; and we use our expertise to identify, shape and fund clinical research to increase treatment options available to children now, and to discover less toxic and more effective treatments for children in the future.

If you are taking on a skydive in September, don’t forget to wear something gold during your jump! You will be joining our Golden Hero’s making a difference to the lives of children with neuroblastoma by raising awareness during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (CCAM). Find out more about CCAM here.
