Solving Kids' Cancer UK Parent Conference
We will be hosting the next Solving Kids' Cancer UK Parent Conference as a hybrid event. This special event is scheduled to take place in the UK over the weekend of 8th and 9th March 2025. As a hybrid event, we're excited to be able to welcome families back to attending in person whilst continuing to keep the event accessible to all families virtually.
Designed specifically for parents and carers, with a patient focus, the event will feature presentations on the latest developments in neuroblastoma research and treatment by a number of international experts.
We will be sharing more details in the coming months, so please stay tuned for further updates. Please also note that this means that there will be no symposium taking place in 2024.
About the event
Our parent conferences are free to attend, bringing families together with the research and healthcare communities to learn about the latest in neuroblastoma research, and to share their experiences. Through insightful talks and discussions, as well as the opportunity to put questions to the experts, our conferences aim to inform families and empower their discussion making. As a charity immersed in neuroblastoma-specific scientific and healthcare networks, we work carefully to curate a tailored agenda to make the event as valuable as possible to the parent community.
The very first event was held in 2012 and we ran in-person conferences each year until the pandemic took hold. When it did, with the support of GRC World Forums and joined by Solving Kids' Cancer US and CNCF, the charity was fortunately able to host the event as a virtual adaptation which we continued to do for the following three years. The event reached over 700 in it's first year, and 1450 over four years, welcoming attendees from over 50 countries around the world to hear from over 60 expert speakers.
