How will I be supporting SKC?
Tasks will vary depending on need at the time but are likely to include requesting raffle/prize donations, engaging community groups in fundraising, researching new ways for us to engage with businesses, trusts and foundations, supporting event preparation, administration, leafleting, visiting local businesses and supporting bucket and bag-packing collections.
How will SKC help me?
As an SKC volunteer you’ll get amazing experience working in a professional organisation and the opportunity to make a real contribution to our work. We’ll provide you with training and support from our team, references for future employers as well as reimbursing your travel expenses (within London) and up to £5 for lunch.
What skills do I need?
We need individuals with reams of enthusiasm and initiative who have a “not afraid to ask” attitude. Our volunteers have a fantastic attention to detail, are always happy to muck in and have the ability to work independently.
