The Challenge
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and the perfect time to take on this event to support children with neuroblastoma.
Whether you’re a seasoned walker, up for an epic new challenge, or someone who just wants a great day out in one of the world’s greatest cities, the Thames Bridges Trek is for you! The challenge is fun, safe and rewarding way to make a difference.
Trek 25 km across the Capital with unrivalled views of the skyline & landmarks. From a Putney Bridge start it’s East towards the City, zig-zagging over 16 historic bridges – each with a fascinating story – and a mid-point rest stop at The Oval Cricket Ground for snacks & drinks. 25 km later, beyond the majestic Tower Bridge, it’s a party style finish line celebration and afternoon picnic in Southwark Park. There is also the option to choose an epic 10km route.
Route Options
1. 25km. Starting at Putney Bridge with a halfway stop at The Oval Cricket Ground and finishing at Southwark Park. Minimum age is 14+ if accompanied by an adult.

Why we need you
Every year, around 100 children in the UK are diagnosed with neuroblastoma, which is a rare and often deadly childhood cancer. The reality of neuroblastoma is heartbreaking: most of these children are under five years old, and for many, the cancer has already spread by the time they are diagnosed, making it one of the toughest pediatric cancers to treat. The aggressive treatments come with lifelong side effects, often leaving children with disabilities and health problems that last long after their cancer.
But there is hope and that's where you come in.
We are dedicated to helping children affected by neuroblastoma by funding potentially life-saving clinical research, providing hope and support to families, and raising awareness to drive positive change.
By participating in our charity walk, you’re joining a community of people who want to make a difference for children and their families. You’re raising critical funds to advance clinical research that could save lives. You’re helping ensure that no family faces this journey alone, offering them the hope, information, and support they desperately need. And finally, you're advocating for change, because childhood cancer deserves more investment and more priority.
