Each September, thousands of people around the world wear a gold ribbon to raise awareness of childhood cancers. This Childhood Cancer Awareness Month we’d love you to Glow Gold for Solving Kids’ Cancer!
Join our Glow Gold Day on Friday 21st September by holding a gold-themed activity with your friends, at school, at university or work. It will help us raise vital funds. Can’t do the 21st? Schedule your fundraiser any day throughout September.
We’ve put on our glittery thinking caps to come up with lots of fun gold-themed fundraising ideas that you can choose from to support us. You could dress up, take on a September challenge event, or hold a treasure hunt or bake-a-thon. Here’s some more ideas you might want to try:
Why children with neuroblastoma need your help
Neuroblastoma is an aggressive and life-threatening cancer that affects very young children. 9 in 10 of children find out they have it when they are under 5 years old.
Sadly, a child in the UK dies from the disease every 10 days. And for children with the high-risk form of the disease whose cancer returns, there’s a less than 10% chance of surviving.
We fight for a future where no child dies of neuroblastoma or suffers through its treatment and beyond. We fund ground-breaking clinical research, advocate for improved care, and support families practically and emotionally.
