We’re recruiting a new Family Support Coordinator!

This is a brand new role which will work closely with our Senior Family Support Coordinator, Vicky Inglis, as part of our Family Support team. If you’re interested in using your experience, knowledge and understanding of neuroblastoma in a positive way to support families affected by neuroblastoma, or know someone who might be, please read on.

Our support team is here to provide practical and emotional support to families affected by neuroblastoma, including information about clinical trials and treatments not available through the NHS, and help to access them where necessary. The new position will become a key part of the team, helping the charity to deliver, enhance and expands its service to families.

The role will be challenging and fast-paced, requiring someone who is: compassionate with excellent communication skills; resilient; highly organised; able to multi-task and prioritise effectively; and work very well under pressure.

A typical day might include responding to requests for help and information, organising a family’s flights to access treatment overseas, coordinating a new fundraising campaign, supporting colleague’s with valuable information and insight, getting on top of administration or urgently coming together with peers to discuss an important issue affecting families.

You’ll be joining, and supported by, a friendly, hard-working and committed team who are working to improve the lives of everyone affected by neuroblastoma every day.
