Family Fun Day

A space where families can meet, form connections, and create memories.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to host a day in the summer that was as accessible as possible to all the families we support, where they could come together after a difficult couple of years of not being able to meet in-person.

We wanted to create a relaxed, open, safe, and child-inclusive environment for both parents and children to create invaluable connections and have a good time!

Last year's event...

Our most recent event took place July 2023 at the beautiful Knebworth House. We were excited to welcome over 20 families from the neuroblastoma community to join us for a day of fun and relaxation!

There were an array of activities for all ages and interests. Our friends at We Can Kick it, a US based organisation dedicated to inspiring and empowering children and families affected by cancer, led football games and activities. There were plenty of activities for guests to enjoy together as a family, from giant lawn games to craft activities. There was also a wonderful BBQ lunch and a disco in the afternoon!

Our games room, which featured a range PlayStations, Xboxes, steering wheels and pedals and virtual reality headsets, proved very popular! On top of this, families could strike a pose at our photobooth and play lots of games taking place throughout the day. All children left with a special goody bag to remember their day.

"It was a lovely day and I can't thank you enough for bringing us all together to meet as, even without Covid-19, meeting everyone would be extremely tough. Thank you for the lovely photos and memories."
